We challenge our young learners to change their world by changing the way they learn.
Our unique play-immersive curriculum consists of pedagogy, zonal environments, unique open-ended play materials and integrated technology. The environment serves as an unwavering teacher for the young child. Our rich learning spaces stress the importance of providing quality play and exploration experiences for our little ones. We believe that quality is much more important than quantity. The resources we use help engage children in wonderful imagination and multimodal learning while building positive social relationships.
By focusing on children’s self-determination and freedom in choosing what, where, and with whom to play, we empower them to take risks while we observe. “Discovering the child” forms the essential belief and research of our curriculum, where we fully return the rights of play and happiness to children. While children discover learning, we discover children.

The curriculum promotes development by focusing on the following areas:
- Personal, social and emotional developmentThe class offers an opportunity for children to become aware of their feelings in relation to their environment. They should be encouraged to have a healthy respect for others as well as a strong self-concept. Through this, they learn to make positive relationships and value friendship, which is a key part of social and emotional development. Examples: Greeting, manners, and rules, sharing and respecting others
- Communication language and literacy Our aim is that the children will learn to communicate in English through games, stories, songs and role-play. Children participate in activities based on letters and sounds to develop their pre-reading and writing skills.
- Problem-solving, reasoning and numeracyActivities are designed to teach children basic problem-solving and number: counting, memorizing, organizing and classifying in a nurturing and supportive environment. Example: numbers, colours, shapes sorting and patterns.
- Physical development Exercise provides children with opportunities to develop their physical strength, Coordination and balance. This increases their self-control and esteem and helps release energy which is vital for growth and development. Example: ball games, rhythm exercises, balance exercises, dancing, and relaxation and outdoor sports.
- Creative development We encourage children to develop their imagination and creativity through various activities such as music, drama, arts and crafts. Our activities allow the children to develop their individuality, artistic expression and help develop fine motor skills. Examples: drawing, painting, cutting, modeling, puppets, instruments, singing and performing.
- Knowledge and understanding of the world Children are motivated to learn about things that interest them and we provide the children with this opportunity. Children are naturally curious about the world around them plants, animals, people, etc. We take the children on trips into the community, and nature walks and look at how we can recycle and help improve our own environment.
Curriculum Detail
Children’s learning is not limited to specific activities or the classroom. Rather, every situation and moment is a chance to learn something new! At MeLFeLL Preschool & Daycare, teachers are trained to recognize these moments and increase learning opportunities. We also designed the learning spaces based on educational research to foster these moments because the environment also plays an important role in the children’s everyday learning experiences.
Play is the most natural way for children to learn and it’s a prerequisite for their development. During play, children display their overall development, even performing a level above their developmental stage because they are motivated to learn and unafraid to take risks. At MeLFeLL Preschool & Daycare, our curriculum and teachers know how to foster play and enrich these important opportunities for further learning.We also value the intrinsic value of play and prioritize free play without adult involvement. We see it as an opportunity for the children to collaborate with each other, explore their surroundings, practice solving problems and practice creativity.
knowledge is socially constructed, which means that children learn through their relationships with others. Building a sense of community, peer learning and developing meaningful relationships with other children and trusted adults are key elements of the MeLFeLL Preschool & Daycare pedagogy. Through these moments, children learn the social-emotional skills necessary to express themselves and effectively interact with others in all types of situations.
